Orange Shirt Day is a day when everyone can honour the Indigenous Children who were sent away to residential schools in Canada and learn more about the history of those schools.

Orange Shirts have come to represent the Self-Esteem and identities that was taken away from Indigenous Children while they were placed in residential schools.
